BIKRAM HOT YOGA METHOD
Bikram Method Yoga is a very specific 90 -minute series of 26 yoga postures and breathing exercises taught in 105′ heat. Each pose is a challenge based on personal abilities; each pose addresses a certain area of the body, bestowing specific and powerful health benefits. The class is designed for beginners as well as for those students who have a regular practice. Every class is open to first time students.
By the end of an Original Hot Yoga class, you will have worked every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, internal organ, and gland while systematically moving fresh, oxygenated blood to 100% of the body. These postures work synergistically and cumulatively to put the body back on track and in balance. This yoga builds strength, balance and flexibility by gently stretching and massaging the spine, muscles, tendons, joints, and all internal organs of the body. Lung capacity is expanded, leading to greater vitality. Bones are strengthened. Joints are opened and lubricated. Muscles are strengthened, toned, and made more flexible. Regular practice of this series of postures results in the healing and repair of injuries and illnesses, weight loss, and peace of mind.
BIKRAM YOGA – MUSIC
The Music Class is a 60-minute silent advance class with little to very no instruction. Clients must have a regular practice, which consist of 2-3 regular 90 -minute Bikram yoga class during the week or a minimum of 8 classes in one month. Not intended for 1st-timers or practitioners without a consistent practice at the studio. New clients /practitioners must have completed 10 plus classes at the studio before being considered to attend the music class.
HOT PILATES
Hot Pilates is a 60 -minute full body training system which combines Pilates principles with low impact, high intensity work-out, designed for all fitness levels. Hot Pilates creates long lean muscle mass, burns fat, and increases fitness levels . It creates a stronger core, improves circulation, and increases flexibility. It is performed on a yoga mat making it zero impact, protecting your joints and muscles from the pounding of other exercises like running and jumping. It is performed in a room heated to 95 degrees Fahrenheit and 40% humidity. The heat loosens up the muscles quickly, and the humidity makes you sweat— elevating your heart rate, boosting metabolism, and promoting detoxification.
